Since Paramount is willing to blow $160 million or so to push the remade/revamped Star Trek franchise this Friday, might as well do my bit with some stuff from the original series.
You can watch on CBS all the episodes of the original series. True classics of screenwriting like City on the Edge of Forever written by Harlan Elison. High camp like Spock's Brain. Or the space going The Enemy Below episode Balance of Terror.
Or pull out the DVDs of Star Trek the Animated Series. Watch episodes such as the Counter-Clock Incident where Enterprise reunites with her first captain Robert April and construction in Earth orbit by San Francisco Naval Yards. Or Yesteryear where we see a child Spock deal with his mixed heritage along with Vulcan children bullying him.
Live long and prosper.
