So don't feel guilty this weekend taking time off to grill some poor dead animal, load up on the coleslaw, savor the taste of ice cream, and watch some fireworks after the sun sets. President Obama has your back when it comes to taking time off.
I'm conflicted about this. On the one hand I am appalled that with the debt, the economy and the Middle East all aflame he takes time off--sort of like fiddling ala Nero.
On the other hand, if he is vacationing it may reduce the incessant campaign din of "I, I, I".
So could it be argued he is a slacker President? Spicoli as leader of the free world. Perish the thought.
Can you ever really shut a politician up? Look at Weiner and Rangel. Or Pelosi and Reid.
should really ask the AGW/Gaisist folks if they really appreciate the huge carbon footprint Obama is leaving with all these trips and vacations. See if their watermelons explode thinking on it.
