Scientific Touchstones

For the NASA scientists embroiled with their arsenic based life-form plus the likes Mann and his hockey stick graph, perhaps a return to the basics might be in order. So here is a quote that seems timeless and applicable now.

"Sit down before a fact as a little child, be prepared to give up every preconceived notion. Follow humbly wherever and to whatever abysses nature leads, or you shall learn nothing."
- Dr. Thomas H. Huxley, President of the Royal Society.

Here is another quote from Huxley, " The foundation of morality is to have done , once and for all, with lying."
