is worth a thousand words. Well here is the President of the United States pushing the Jeep product brand. No wheels, no glass, no interior, and no paint. It's more transparent than this administraton at least.

Yea Anna, but the way it sits, it has a higher gas mileage than the VOLT and a smaller carbon footprint. So he has accomplished his goal.
Castrating the auto industry? It seems to be working, the only work in the Obama economy.
Was at Ford dealership last Friday getting oil changed on Mustang, it was not pretty. It seemed 20% of the sales cubicles were empty, no sales person, no knick-nacks, etc. And when I went to look at the 2011 GT500 which they had off in the far parking lot, no sales people came to talk to me.
I get that no salesperson all the time when I go into an auto dealer. My common dress is scruffy jeans, t-shirt and a beat-up old military jacket. Went into the large JEEP dealer a couple of years ago to get a new Wrangler. Walked around for 30 minutes with sales people ignoring me the whole time. The next day, I went to a competitor and bought two cars, the JEEP Wrangler and a Chrysler Crossfire for my wife. The sales person was most appreciative, but he was the one who came out to talk to me and gave me the service.
Thing is Andy, six months ago those cubicles had people. And when I went to look at the Mustangs someone ran out there to see if I wanted to buy a 2010 Barret-Jackson Rousch Mustang. This time, I went to look at the Mustangs twice and no one came out.
I don't know, maybe you and I should dress better when we go car shopping. I just drove up to northern Indiana for a gun show and in Crawfordsville, the (I think) FORD dealer was completely out of business while the Chrysler and Jeep dealer was still open right next to the expired Ford dealer. The FORD dealer in the towns north and south of me (Terre Haute and Sullivan) closed completely , but the Terre Haute one re opened later under new ownership.
