March 29th in History

On March 29th, 1973 the last American troops left the Republic of Vietnam.

Just over two years later on April 30, 1975 the same Republic of Vietnam ceased to exist as it surrendered to the invading forces from the communist Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Boy that was a looong time ago ! I can still remember when the right wing was saying "We have to fight them commies over there so we do not have to fight them here" And now they sell us shrimp and sneakers cheap

I am so glad you don't mind people braving pirates or enduring torture just so you can have cheap sneakers.

Ah yes, "Anonymous," the good old days when the left wing was more than happy to sacrifice millions of people around the world just to maintain status quo and not have to fight any of those icky war things. But by all means, continue to post your racist thoughts for all to see, it'll just allow up to take you that much more serious, really.

The left would have us living as the western part of the USSR. Their unwillingness to fight makes us all more vulnerable.

As Sowell observed in his Townhall article on the Rookie President. It seems Obama is soft on our enemies while being hard on our allies. We will need Divine Help to avoid Iran's nuclear Meggidio.
