The two pictures below graphically demonstrate why the handling of any firearm should be a serious business. Mishandling can lead to accidents, some of them fatal. Luckily for the guy who fired this weapon, he only caught shrapnel in the face as the bullet burst the barrel and peeled it like a banana because he forgot he left the boresight tool attached to the weapon.
