Stuck on Stupid

Not content with controlling both the House and Senate, the Democrats continue to display how utterly poor sports they are. We now have Murtha saying things as 'this President has no power' and stating that there are points of interest that Pelosi has agreed to.

Phrases that spring to mind:
"I wish the Democrats had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night."

"Egon, what does your meter read?"
"Well Ray. If this Twinkie was the Democrats before November 7th. They are now the size of the Eifel Tower when it comes to stupid."

How quaint. This Congress has no more power than the President, if he only gets that veto pen out of his ass.

Bush will have to engineer some kind of political comeback. But it ain't going to happen if compromise (which seems to be a one way street meaning give Dems whatever they want) is the policy.

In Bush's news conference on Wednesday he called for a "fresh perspective" and again mentioned the flawed "new tone" strategy. My first "fresh perspective" would be to kick the new tone to the curb and start fighting with the same hardball tactics which have been so successful for Democrats.

I'm not holding my breathe.

Meanwhile, I cannot recall a time when Democrats have been such SORE WINNERS.

Have a look back at 1992.

Stuck on Stupid is a really good phrase for the Democrats & the Drive By Media.

As for the president's veto pen I am cautiously being optimistic like Fred Barnes is and hoping the President will use it a lot with the Dems.

Isn't it amazing how everything they said before the election has been turned 180 degrees now that they've won?
