Just caught Dr. Howard Dean being interviewed by Chris Wallace on Fox News.
Chris brings out quotes from a previous interview in which Dr. Dean categorically states that he knows it was Karl Rove who outed Valerie Plame and that Karl Rove needs to be fired.
Chris asks Howard if he would change his statment since it has come to light that it was Asst. Secretary of State Armitage, a non-fan of President Bush, who actually leaked Plame's name.
Without batting an eye Dean launches into demanding that Karl Rove needs to be fired.
There my friends is the best example of clinical insanity. Facts do not matter, only Dean's quest to harpoon his personal white whale matters. The cost in lives and reputations do not factor into Dean's mission.

I flipped channels and went to the Meet the Press replay with Tim Russert interviewing Vice President Cheney.
Russert was pretty tough on Cheney. Too bad we couldn't get Cheney and the insane Dean in the same room wihtout a camera for a few minutes.
With or without the shotgun?
I'd say "with", but then I'd be accused of being a hateful, evil rightwinger.
Not that I'd feel insulted...
