Therapy

Thanks to Southern Knight I finally decided to try out Guild Wars. Blame him for future light posting. :)

Good way to pass the time while being sick. Get to do heroic things while killing off a box of tissues.

Right now I am a 9th Level Ranger/Monk. Which means I am pretty mean with the bow and I have a great cat companion who helps me tackle monsters. That is the Ranger part; the Monk part allows me to heal myself, heal party members, and even smite those wicked monsters with spells. :)

One has quests to accomplish which reward you with new weapons, skills, money, or all three.

So far having a good time playing online. And like how the game designers put in a warning system. If you spend three hours online they suggest you should take a break. ^_^ I do not want to find out what the eight hour warning is.

So, is this what you look like when you're sick? I'm afraid that I look a little bit rougher when I am sick. What kinds of meds ARE you on...........?

You're looking pretty good there Anna, I'm glad you're feeling better. (:

Oh no please don't tempt me with those games. I haven't gotten involved into playing video games since the early Nintendo era. I was very good at it too, but it made me feel like a loser. I was so hooked on playing Zelda that nothing else ever got done. I had tons of other games too, but ended up giving it all away to set myself free. (:

I've been down with a nasty sinus infection since yesterday too. The meds are knocking me out, been sleeping a lot. Good thing I have to work late tomorrow, because I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.
Cheers!

I invited you to join my Guild before I noticed on the picture that you belonged to one already. Oh well, maybe we can do a quest together sometime.

Better than that, WOW.

I never could get into gaming, I even have trouble with solitair, although I did like "PONG" and "SPACE INVADERS". Gaming these days is almost like a religion, too many people waste too much time playing.

I spend WAY too much time on the computer to get into the gaming! I'd just like more time to blog at this point, but work keeps getting in the way!

Hope you feel better! I have a daughter home with strep.

Wow, thanks for all the kind words and well wishes. I am feeling much better now as it seems the aweful crud has left.

Najia, I guess you are feeling better after bowling with Natalie and her friends. Bowling can be a blast if you don't take yourself seriously. Gutter balls are my life. :)

Anna, I hope your daughter is feeling better. Strep nasty as you sanitize everything everyday to reduce chance of catching it yourself.

I know people who spend, it seems, their entire lives playing and it boggles me. City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, Anarchy Online, Final Fantasy Online, etc. I have a PS2, last game I bought for it is to make role playing games. Have I used it? Not in a long time. I will play for awhile and then do other things like reading books, hanging with friends, blogging, cleaning house, paying bills, work... wait need to game some more! :)

Barry, perhaps we can link up another time, now that I have made 10th Level Ranger/Monk. Nice talking to you this morning.
