Seems somehow fitting, on the eve of the NATO pull out from SFOR mission in Bosnia some intrepid thieves would spike things for NATO.
People dressed up in NATO uniforms set up a phony check point and heist an armoured car. I think there was a movie along these lines? Or there should be. Once again this proves reality can be stranger than fiction.
I will give the thieves full marks for gumption, planning, and a good set of cajones to pull this off when NATO is handing off its nine year SFOR mission[definitely not Star Trek's five year mission] to a new EU force.
Thankfully no one was hurt while some thieves are now flush with cash.
