Spitzer Pie

Well I guess this explains why sitting Governor Eliott Spitzer had the State Police investigating his chief Republican rival now. He did not want the State Police to stumble across his private $5,000 call-ins.

It seems Spitzer hired the services of a certain escort named Kristen for four hours and had her transported to where he was. In the documents, Spitzer is identified as Client 9.

For a guy who was big in busting up corruption and prostitution, this seems a major tumble off the pedestal. So far Spitzer has not indicated he will resign, though he says he needs to time to rebuild trust with his family. I think that is an understatement Sherlock. Resign and then you can have all the time you need for marriage counselors, marriage encounters, and failing that a full blown divorce in which your soon to be ex-wife takes you to the cleaners.

To say it is a private matter between individuals used to work. But Bill Clinton with his plea bargain and surrendering of his law license put that dog to rest. Or more likely wore it out as quickly as he wore out the carpet in the Oval Office.

There might be a future for Eliot Spitzer still. Sergio Armani might come out with a new cologne for men named Client 9 and have Spitzer as spokesman.

Spitzer has been such an ass, it's getting what he deserves.

Can you just see the Governor of New York going to an ATM near the Mayflower Hotel and taking out thousands of dollars in cash? Is that normal behavior?

I know Mike, as Spitzer is withdrawing money is Kristen beside him singing:

"Goldmember....
He's the man, the man with the Midas touch
A spider's touch
Such a cold timber
Beckons you to enter his web of sin
but don't go in"
