Deja Vu in NYC

Denziens of the Big Apple got a shocking reminder today of what happened just over five years ago. A light plane crashed into a high-rise condominium on the Upper East Side. Flames were seen to erupt as debris fell to the ground below.

Naturally there were fears of this being another terrorist attack and officials tried to re-assure people that there were no indications this was such an event.

Now it can be confirmed. This crash was an accident. Among the killed was the New York Yankees' starting pitcher Cory Lidle. Eleven fire fighters were also injured battling the fires.

Lets all spare a moment in our busy lives to pray for the familes of the deceased and injured. May they find comfort and healing in the days and years ahead.
