Just when we think someone with a political objective can not get any lower here in the USA, someone proves how wrong we are.
Jeanine Pirro is running for office in the Empire State against the son of Mario Cuomo, Andrew. And now somehow a snippet of Ms. Pirro telling a friend she is thinking of hiring an investigator to see what her husband Albert is doing has leaked to the media.
Shocking don't you think? Until you know some of the background information. Her husband Albert has been unfaithful in the past, fathering a child out of wedlock after marrying Jeanine; not to mention him spending time in Club Fed. The real bombshell comes from the source of the snippet, it came from supposedly sealed Federal court documents. Someone violated the law to score cheap political points. That someone needs to be legally prosecuted and jailed.
The Republican Party is standing fast with Ms. Pirro. And suprisingly so is NOW standing with her. Hopefully the Cuomo camp will also stand with Ms. Pirro against this cowardly smear.

After reading a little political news, I feel the need for a bath. Lord such nastiness ...
To paraphrase Obi-Wan, "They have been seduced by the Dark Side of the Force."
There has been dirty politics before in American history but now it seems it has been virulent.
Oh and because they leaked only a little bit, it appeared that Pirro was in "cahoots" with Bernie Kerik (the one under investigation), while he was just the friend she was talking to. So, now they are saying she should be investigated!
Just love how they use a little bit of information to make the person appear horrid, but they don't tell the whole story.
Anna, I hear you. Use partial truths to destroy the good name of people. The political weapons of cowards this is.
Couldn't resist...your last sentence in the above comment was very "Yoda"! :)
All these Anna comments are confusing. Without the gravatar I would think you are talking to yourself.
Anyway... The Cuomo's are known for slimeball politics. Some of the crap they directed at Ed Koch in the 1982 primary for governor was the worst smears I have seen.
