Class Warfare Model and Genocide

This was an interesting discovery on a blog, how this person defines genocide. I think there is a marked tilt in their viewpoint. Of course there are other words that could be used, pogrom and massacre come to mind.

Saddam killing/gassing/shooting Kurds - Genocide
Saddam gassing Iranain troops during the Iran-Iraq War - Massacre
The Islamics of Sudan's little war against the Christians and Animist - Pogrom.
The 1915 killing of Armenians by Ottoman Turkey - Genocide
Pre-20th Century actions against Jews in Europe - Pogroms.
Nazi efforts against Jews in the 20th Century - Genocide
Rwanda - Genocide
Serbians against Croats and Muslims - Genocide
Croats against Serbs and Muslims - Genocide
Stalin's forced deportation of millions to Siberia - Pogrom

Yeah, the author from the post you link does seem to have an axe to grind.

Another version of moral relativism most likely.

And that kind of thinking usually ends up excusing murder, massacre, genocide and pogroms. Not stopping them.

I agree with your definition.

IF one finds excuses for evil to happen, then evil will happen in greater amounts.

Either for freedom or against it. Can not sit on the fence.
