Throwing off the yoke

By a vote of 171 to 133, the besieged and corruption riddled Liberal government of Canada has fallen. For the first time since 1979, a Prime Minister has been given the boot by Parliament.

It is looking like a January 23rd election date. If Mr. Stinson can travel cross-country just after gall-bladder surgery to vote Paul Martin's government out of office, then every Canadian better vote on the 23rd even if there are two meters of snow and the temperature hovers at -20C without the wind.

And please do not return the Liberals back to governance Canadians. Let them wander the political wilderness for awhile to learn they can not glibly funnel $100 million CDN from government coffers to Liberal party re-election coffers or leak market news to their buddies before a major announcement on fund taxes is due.
