The suspect that British police shot and killed for bolting from them turns about to have been a tragic mistake. The young man from Brazil happened to do the wrong thing at the wrong time and paid a terrible price. Lets all remember him and his family back in Brazil.
I am not going to castigate the police for their actions, unlike some pundits safely tucked away in their flats and studios. Those cops had seconds to make a decision that if they decided wrong could mean even more people dyeing. They acted as the situation warranted in order to protect the lives of all the other citizens, never forget that. They put their own lives on the line to stop a person they feared was another bomber intent on killing. Lets also remember these brave men in these tough times because they are second guessing themselves and wrestling with their consciences about this matter. May they find peace and the needed clarity to view their actions correctly.
As for one of the Keystone Klutzes that prompted this tragedy, the cops in Birmingham have him safely locked up. Bravo to the police for apprehending him, perhaps he will tell us where the others have gone. We do not need to know where the explosives are, SkyNews reports that the car belonging to one of the July 7th bombers had enough materials in it to make sixteen backpack bombs. Just think of the carnage that could have happened if the Keystone Klutzes had gotten their hands on those materials and give thanks to the cops who found that car before the would-be killers did.
And I must point to such blogs as Myrtus' and BeirutSpring who have openly called on the followers of the Prophet to openly denounce these barbarians. Let them know they are not alone, give them support. By uniting we can defeat them.
