Cruising around the Google Maps Beta. Can zoom down to Baghdad International Airport, Iraq to clearly identify two jetliners on the apron as either Tu-154s or maybe 727s.
But I strike out looking for Fallujah or Mosul. However Balad will bring up a map. Here is Tikrit, Saddam's 'hood.
This could get interesting. Should I go look at Tehran?
